comets are balls of rock or ice which fly through space, when they enter earths atmosphere they become what is known as meteors. did this answer your question?

You should have a few beers before practicing falling down and you'd get it right first time then. Who needs meteors when you've got a rising Star, any astromoner can spot this without a telescope.
